Deep and tasty

Really nice smelling notes of marzipan, would come to full life in a filter. Used in esspresso is deep and smooth without being too over powering, good all rounder cup. The longer brew from a cafetière brings out bolder slightly nuty flavours, noticable chocolate on the after taste. Very nice roast, lends easily to many uses.

Product description
Introducing Midnight Flyer - A Specialty Coffee Journey from the Rwenzori Mountains Midnight Flyer is a specialty coffee with a rich heritage, sourced from the lush lands of the Katanda farmers community nestled in the heart of the Kasese district.
Processed with care by Agri Evolve, this exceptional coffee offers a unique taste experience. The Katanda community is a group of dedicated smallholder farmers who cultivate coffee with passion on their 1 to 4-acre parcels of land.
With altitudes ranging from 1300 to 1600 masl, the terroir imparts distinctive flavors to the beans, making Midnight Flyer an exquisite single-origin coffee.

The journey of Midnight Flyer begins with the careful handpicking of ripe cherries from three central buying centers. These cherries are then transported to the Nyabirongo washing station, where they undergo a meticulous process of pulping and fermentation for approximately 24 hours.

Following this, the coffee parchment is dried using either raised beds or mechanical methods, ensuring the beans reach their full potential. Once fully dried, the parchment is stored in our warehouse until it's time for export. The final step includes hulling, grading, and bagging, resulting in a premium coffee product ready to be savored.

As a washed coffee, Midnight Flyer consistently maintains a reliable quality with an SCA score between 83 and 84.

It's not just a coffee; it's an experience - a taste of the Rwenzori foothills. Midnight Flyer brings an unparalleled depth of flavor and a balanced profile that delights the palate.

Every cup is a testament to the dedication of the Katanda farmers and Agri Evolve's commitment to quality. Capture the essence of the Rwenzori Mountains with Midnight Flyer and embark on a coffee journey like no other.
