“I was a long-time Pact Coffee subscriber... then I came across Sam at a market. The beans were miles ahead of the coffee I had been using. Needless to say I switched to Rise & Grind... Highly recommend Rise & Grind!

Meet the Producers

Jose Carlos Alves Pinto, São Sebastião do Paraíso

José and his brothers have 4 farms in São Sebastião do Paraíso. In the 1990s, the brothers invested in technology with an aim to increase the cultivated area and renovate their crops (more adequate spacing, systematization, new varieties). Their focus at the moment is an improvement in business management, and investing in processes, people and optimization to increase sustainability and excellence in the cup.

Marcio Martins Ferreira, Fazendas Monte Alto & Mimosa

Marcio has two farms in Pedregulho, Mogiana. He started his first coffee crop at his father’s estate in 1983, which was dominated by dairy farming. The results from coffee over time meant that Marcio could leave behind the milk production of his father and focus solely on coffee cultivation, which has become the primary income for the family ever since.

First time trying this blend and wow so good

Well what can I say it was my first visit to the shop and was recommended to try this blend. What a lovely coffee this turned out to be. It was exactly as described by the lovely couple who I take it to own the shop. So I can fully recommend this as I will now ditch my Lungo which I thought was my favourite blend of coffee. With the owners help I’ll be back next week to te purchase and also ask their kind advise in order to try some of their other coffees. I can’t thank you both enough for your advise and it was spot on, in fact I think I will go and have another lovely coffee!!!!!!

Good all round brew

Brazil Eagle Mogiana has become a favourite of mine. It’s lovely, quite rich and full of flavour giving the satisfaction of a nice and strong cup of coffee yet with a fully balanced flavour experience that has no bitterness whatsoever. I prefer this blend over the Brazilian coffees that supermarkets even such as Waitrose have to offer. As any coffee lover does, you know when you’re really enjoying a cup of coffee and Rise and Grind’s Brazil - Eagle Mogiana does it for me 👍🏽

Service and taste

Ordered the Brazil- Eagle Mogiana, this is one of the smoothest coffe I have tasted. I was on my way to collect when I was notified that the roast house was having to close for essential maintenance, the coffe was shipped free of charge, it arrived the next morning. Fantastic service and product. Well done.

Strong & Smooth! Great Service by Sam

I met Sam at Chatelherault Market & tried a bag of the Brazil. He is very passionate & willing to take the time to explain the different coffees on offer. Let me tell you, this coffee packs a punch! If you're after a strong coffee without the usual bitterness, look no further than this gem from Rise & Grind. Totally hooked!
